Lol. I’m so lame. XD

South Korea is dishing out a dozen boybands every week, it seems. And obviously I can’t keep up anymore. Gone are the days when they introduced a new group once every six months or once a year. Now.. it’s like they’re matching the pace of the world – where everyone’s in a rush. I guess they don’t want to lose that chance of getting that more than 15 minutes of fame. Kpop groups, are of course.. one of S.Korea’s main players in the global community.

I don’t think the Korean wave just happened. I’m pretty sure it was all planned. ;D Look back at the previous years. Did Kpop have that much influence on you back then.. or was it just another entertainment buzz that you know would pass.

Most of you would agree that Kpop has taken over your life. Well, I knew I was doomed when I realized I could relate each thought and action back to kpop. Seriously. There’s no going back for me. And it’s even worse for me I guess, since I’m also a Jpopper. I feel like my head’s going to explode now. haha.

ANYWAY. ON to our object of attention!

I just found the Korean equivalent of Hey!Say!Jump! (and yep, it means I am well on my way to being a certified pedo-noona. *sigh*)

How to Become an Official Fan [ International ] <3

How to be an Official Netizen – that was supposed to be the title of this entry but as you can see, I have decided against it. ;D

For those of you who would like to be part of your favorite idol group’s official daum cafe and be included in their fan statistics, I shall teach you how to do so.

STEP 1 : Open your browser and type in this address: https://user.daum.net/joinuser/welcome.do

STEP 2: Click on the button next to the blue droplet. STEP 3: The next page you will be directed to is the one we’ve all seen before: Terms of Agreement. I’m sorry that my Korean isn’t good enough to tell you what these terms are but I don’t think it involves us selling out soul to the devil or anything. So go to the bottom of the page, tick the checkbox and click on the blue button to agree.

STEP 4: A new page will come up and it will have textboxes.. but do not type anything in them. Unless you have a Social Security Number in Korea,  then this is the page for you. If not, click the third option (blue circle). Then click the blue button at the bottom to proceed.

STEP 5: Here, you will enter your name, please take note that it should be in CAPITAL LETTERS. I entered my first name only. 😛 Then you can choose whether you are male, or female. Your birthday comes next in this order Year / Month/Day. Use the dropdown menu to choose. Then click the blue button at the bottom to confirm.

STEP 6: Type in your e-mail on the next page.Then click on the button on the right. That will send an activation code to your e-mail address.

If they have successfully sent the code to your e-mail, you should get a prompt that looks like this:

Now, if you get a different kind of pop-up and it’s longer (takes up two lines), then that means you have to click t he button again because the connection was broken.

Step 7: Check your e-mail and then copy-paste the activation numbers onto the text box that will *magically* appear after you click that button from the step above. xD There are SIX numbers altogether, make sure you’re copy-pasting the right thing.

The security code will appear and you type it into the textbox before clicking the bottom blue button again.

STEP 8: Okay, this is the last step before you’re fully registered on DAUM. 😉

Please click on image to see it in full size. Pretty self-explanatory since I wrote the translations in black.

Your nickname will be the ID you use to sign in to Daum, your Daum ID can be different. 🙂

And of course, click the blue button once you’re finished and voila!

C.N. Blue – Voice Mini-Album [Mediafire Downloads]

A week ago, C.N. Blue released their new mini-album, Voice. I can’t tell whether it’s better than their first mini-album but I can say that all their songs are growing on me. Them singing in English makes them even more adorable to me, it’s easier to memorize their lyrics. WHEE.

Indie bands like them are LOVVVVEEEE. 🙂

By the way, for those who do not know yet, Kwang Jin has left the group.. but nobody knows why. Rumors are.. he went back to Korea to continue his studies. There is a new bassist now and his name’s Jung Shin. 🙂 And yes, he’s adorable as well. Aren’t they all? ^^,

Kim Hyun Joong – Because I’m Stupid Acoustic Version [ Mediafire DL ]

Some of you might already know this but I’m sharing it with everyone anyway. Kim Hyun Joong’s Acoustic version of Because I’m Stupid has finally been released. I know that for months, we settled for the ripped-from-video version of this song, when Ji Hoo sang it when he and Jan di were in Macau, of course from the famous drama Boys Over Flowers. I feel like it has already been forever since BOF was released and captured the hearts of many fangirls.

But even after the drama has ended, lots of people have started watching the drama, hence this “BOF” craze isn’t going to die down anytime soon. It still has a lot of juice in it to attract new viewers. This is a good thing. 😉

C.N. Blue (Code Name Blue), dubbed as the “2nd FT Island” consists of four members and debuted in Japan just recently. I don’t think that they should be called such because CN Blue’s music has more of a raw sound. 🙂

1. My Heart

I don’t know why I’m still into you.. My heart is still beating.

I KNOW why I am still into 2PM. Because they are worth every single ounce of fangirling energy I have. 🙂

2. Heartbeat

Listen to my Heartbeat. I don’t know why but the first time I listened to it, it felt like it was them doing a live radio show. xD But towards the end, I started enjoying the track. It does need a little getting used to. I am super duper excited for the steps to this song. *Yippee*

3. 기다리다 지친다

First time I heard this as a teaser, I was like “Yay, ballad!” 😀 But then, when it was released it became all auto-tune-y. 😦 But it’s from 2PM so I don’t complain much. LOL And I really hear Jay’s voice in there somewhere. Or maybe I have my hopes too high up.

4. 너에게 미쳤었다

She’s gone.. gone..

This should have been a ballad but they made it into a dance track. Well, I know why they needed to. They are, after all, 2PM! I memorized some of the lines already which means.. it’s really catchy! 😀 What do you think?

5. Gimme The Light

When I saw the title, I was reminded of Green Light by John Legend. LOL But then I heard Nichkhun’s voice and I knew this was going to be one of the songs that I could chill out to. I will give you all the light.. if you let me. *wink*

When I first had a glimpse of the song titles, I went “Eh?! The songs are so emo!” And clearly I was wrong. They are all made for 2PM who will have a signature dance step for each song. But at least Back2U is a slower song. I mean it’s not  a prom song but the guys’ voices are so.. soothing. ^^

7. All Night Long

MY FAVORITE SONG OFF THE ALBUM. (and yes, I had to italicize AND bold that)

On and on ~ all night long~ *blushes*

What’s not to love with this song? It’s the kind that a special person can sing to you. Oh Taec, I wish you could sing this to me. Although if that ever happens, I wouldn’t have heard you singing to me (I would have already fainted) Bwahahaha. Just kidding. This song is so.. gooooooood. *cheeky grin*

8. Heartbeat (Red Light Mix)

They have so many remixes eh?  Haven’t decided yet whether I like the remix more than the original. I think I danced to every song on this album when I first listened to them. HAHA.

9. 10점 만점에 10점 (10/10)

Do you know how hard it is to dance to this song? I learned it the hard way. Haha. This was the track that left me in awe. Here was a new boy group.. they don’t look like the rest of the teenybopper groups, no colourful clothing, no obvious dorky traits, no feminine mannerisms.. and boy could they dance! And sing too (although Junsu didn’t really get enough leeway to showcase his singing talent, so yes, I learned that a little later)

10. Only You (Acoustic Mix)

I am definitely biased to tracks with Jay’s voice in them. This was one of my favorite songs from back in their old days. Love love love it. 🙂 It brought back all those fangirling moments when I first met 2PM and all the crying when Jay left. But I have faith. And I know we Hottests are strong. Gambatte!

11. Again and Again

I  lost track of the number of flash dance mobs that had this song.. so I pretty much know all the steps by now. The Egyptian dance step was the tricky one but I think all the Hottests can do that now.

12. 니가 밉다 (Lounge Mix)

I could play this over and over again and still dance to it every time. It has one of my fave dance steps in it. 😀

13. 돌아올지도 몰라 (Bossa Nova Mix)

Not a fan of Bossa Nova but songs without autotunes are really worth listening to. Definitely going into the list of songs I’m going to listen to in my car every day when I go to work. Yay. 🙂

My Heart Beats For 2PM

JUNSU

Music makes my heart beat. The more I hear, sing, and perform on stage.. my heart beats stronger than ever. I want to live like this until the day I die..

He looks really different here. He and Junho can really be mistaken as brothers. They both look like Rain. Junsu just wears eyeliner to cover that up. 😀 And his voice is love, so I know his music touches people’s hearts. 2PM’s music makes OUR hearts beat.

JUNHO

Fans make my heart beat.My fans who love me despite my weaknesses. It feels like a dream that my music can make someone happy. I want to sing for that person who may have at least one fan remaining. It’s time to be back on stage.. my heart is about to burst.

It IS time to be back on stage. I’m torn on this boycott issue. I want Jae to come back but still, I don’t want to abandon the other 6 members who work equally hard. Although I know JYP is such an ass for not protecting Jae in the first place, I think it’s our responsibility to protect 2PM and the rest of the members by supporting them despite the absence of Jae (I just tell myself he’ll be back soon).

WOOYOUNG

Being anxious makes my heart beat. I ask myself every morning “Would I be able to accomplish it well today too?”And “Do I need to improve in some way?” Then I tell myself “I can do it. Of course!” I can feel the pulses in my heart beating faster. Well.. it begins again.

HAHAHA @ cameraman. Getting carried away, are we? Nipple slip. xD That little camera angle slip caught me. Here I was getting all emo-ish and then I notice that part. 🙂 I am not used to seeing the boys this sad and in such a depressive mood. =/ They light up my life.. we Hottests need to brighten their lives as well.

CHANSUNG

Trust makes my heart beat. when it became extremely hard and felt like my heart was about to stop, through our trust I was able to overcome the pain. Now if we’re together, I know I can overcome anything. So my heart overflowing with confidence beats stronger than ever..

NICHKHUN

Struggles make my heart beat .. cause I know they make me stronger. That’s why I’ll never give up, that’s why I’m not afraid to fail. Today, I face another obstacle and so my heart starts beating. Again.

I absolutely adore this guy. And I love him even more now that he expressed his deepest emotions in English. I guess it meant that he couldn’t really feel the words if he said them in a language he wasn’t too familiar with. 🙂

TAECYEON

The people I love makes my heart beat. The love I give and receive from my family friends and us 7 members… feel great warmth whenever I think about it. I want to be with you guys forever.

TAEEEEEEECCCC, you dork! You will always be my number one love on 2PM. And saying SEVEN members keeps you on that top spot. 🙂 I am quite sure you and Jay were quite close since you have almost similar backgrounds. And you being the last (video) to voice your thoughts & feelings.. definitely is a message to everyone that even the remaining members are all waiting for the leader.
