So I haven’t had much time to blog about the dramas I am currently watching and so I decided to just post the pictures of the dramas and their OSTs (yes, free music downloads, hosted at Mediafire, because the download speed there is superb). I’ll give a brief synopsis for each drama. 🙂

Current J-dramas i am watching:

SMILE [スマイル]

Yui Aragaki is Hana and Matsujun is Bito, the lead of the story. The story revolves around him and you will see how he faces the challenges of being a half-Filipino, half-Japanese living in Japan. (I already blogged about this before)

Godhand Teru [ゴッドハンド輝] [

I love House M.D. and I have not watched any other medical dramas unless you count E.R. and that was eons ago, when I didn’t even know what a lumbar puncture was. 😉 But I decided to give this Japanese medical drama a chance and so far, so good. It’s just weird that the lead actor has to clutch at his chest before he can perform a miraculous operation. And it’s like he becomes a Power Ranger. You’ll understand if you watch. 🙂

Due to problems with the band in charge of the OST, the release of the single was suspended. This is only a short and cut version of the song. They say there will be a new OST for Godhand Teru. I’ll see if I can update when that happens.

Atashinci No Danshi [アタシんちの男子]

Maki is forced to be the mother to 6 young handsome men, and you can probably which one they are from the picture. It is a highly amusing drama and it really seems like a very unrealistic one as well, with many parts screaming “fantasy” or “anime” 😀 Just the way I like it. Kind of like the absurdity of Mei Chan no Shitsuji. Hehe.

Ghost Friends [ゴーストフレンズ]

Ahh. Japanese Ghost Whisperer anyone? At least that’s how the story goes with this show. The girl can see ghosts, due to an accident that cost her best friends’ life. She meets this young man (who sometimes looks like Ji Hoo from Boys Over Flowers, must be the hair or something) who is an incarnate ghost. He isn’t a zombie. More like possessing his old body but he’s dead. Hard to explain. See for yourself.

I really really like the OST for Ghost Friends. It’s on repeat on my iTunes. 😀

My fangirl spirit is on overdrive and I am especially hyper today after finding the Piano Version of Okaeri by Ayaka. The one they used in the SP. Yey! I am using it as my new background music. And will post a download link as well after I have converted it to a smaller file. Whee. 😉

Boys Over Flowers 2nd OST (download links)

If they were a band, I bet their fanbase would be ginormous.

It’s been a really sad week for the cast of Boys Over Flowers.. and at the moment everything is still crazy. Hyunjoong, or if you call him by his character name, Ji Hoo is angry at the BOF production company for pushing through with the scheduled fanmeeting despite the death of actress Jang Ja Yeon. The actors actually seemed to want to stage a walkout from the scene (I dont think they did, but they didnt want to film either) but the production company doesn’t know what to do yet. Some are saying that the production of the drama may be halted.. but I don’t think so.. They have gone this far.. and to stop at this point and re-cast would be useless.. People would not be so keen on the idea.. Besides, BOF must be raking in lots of cash at the moment.. something like what Princess Hours did years ago..

I do wish they were more considerate on the actors though.. they want to give respect to Jang Ja Yeon.. and they should be given time to grieve, especially those we were close to her.

They are all really professional. Just seeing them on screen.. It’s like they have no life outside of their characters, but in truth, they are humans too and have emotions. They also need rest. *sigh* Poor them.

I don’t have as much love for the series as I did when I first watched it (and even then, I was a bit skeptical on the whole thing since I am a Hana Yori Dango Jap fan. This drama is definitely getting too darn serious. I’m happy that Jandi and Jun Pyo are on good terms again though. But anyway on a different note, I have the links for the OST, thanks so much to the awesome person who found them.

I never posted the links to the first OST mainly because it was EVERYWHERE.

Drop Movie OST (by 湘南乃風)

I am so excited to see Hiro Mizushima blonde, er, orangey-haired. ;D

I am so proud of myself. After a few hours of scanning through Japanese pages and with the help of an online translation program (which helped me 20%) I have managed to locate the OST AND the PV of this song for the Drop Movie. Yey. ;D It’s really tough not to know the language of the people you fangirl about. ;P

I am still a lil bit unsure whether this is the OST but if you check out the news at the movie’s official site, you will find the link to this band’s official site. And that is more than enough clues to point out that this will be the music used in the movie, ne?
